Introductory Class for Adults
Class Times: 1.5 hours ⏐ Pricing: 4 group classes – $520
All riders new to Seventh Farm, regardless of their riding experience should take the Introductory Class. This class will go over all of the basics and give you a well- rounded horse riding experience. In this class we will also evaluate your riding abilities so that you can then be placed in the correct level class once the Introductory class is completed.
- Grooming & Tacking
- Groundwork, horsemanship and theory
- Walk, trot & canter
- Jumping for riders who have previously jumped
- Position, rider aid development
Level 2 – Classes for Adults
Class Times: 1.5 hours ⏐ Pricing: 4 group classes – $520
The riding progression is at an elementary level. What you can expect:
- Grooming, Tacking and Groundwork
- Mounting & Dismounting
- Walk, Trot & Canter
- Position, rider aid development
- Turns, Patterns
- 1-2 lesson concepts per class
Level 3 – Jumping Class
Class Times: 1 hours ⏐ Pricing: 4 group classes – $550
The jumping classes are the start of when a rider becomes more independent and confident. Riders can begin in a jumping class early in their riding lessons as they can learn to jump alongside their basic education. Riders may begin their jumping lessons on our trusted lesson horses, but then they will need to find a suitable horse to lease. What you can expect at this level class:
- Groom & tack independently
- Trot work that is focused on a strong posture and position
- Cantering – in a group, focusing on building stamina at the canter – may canter for longer time.
- Beginning jumping – focusing on jumping 1 jump well with correct posture and aids
- Jumping a full course
- 2-6 educational lessons per class
